Spectrum analysis
Portable wideband monitoring, measurement capture, emission assessment and investigation.
A field-ready spectrum monitoring capability for Zimbabwe. Engineered around verifiable performance, operational readiness and a disciplined transfer of skills.
Confidential working proposal · Candidate equipment and costs subject to OEM verification and tender clarification.
The proposed solution integrates a portable 54 GHz-class spectrum analyser, compatible antenna systems, licensed measurement functions, calibrated accessories and field procedures. Anritsu MS2090A-0754 is a candidate, not a certified compliant configuration.
Portable wideband monitoring, measurement capture, emission assessment and investigation.
Directional and omnidirectional field kits, RF cabling, connectors and rugged transport.
Required measurement options, IQ functions, traceable calibration and configuration register.
Structured interference detection and location exercises with reproducible case files.
Instructor-led operation, hands-on assessments, SOPs and user-facing guidance.
Warranty coordination, escalation route, maintenance records and handover evidence.
Receiving and acceptance are proposed for POTRAZ headquarters, Harare, subject to confirmation. End users are expected to include spectrum monitoring and field engineering personnel; exact roles remain to be validated.
Confirm exact tender quantities, technical options, OEM appointment and acceptance protocol.
Prepare system configuration, factory inspection, licences and calibration evidence.
Deliver to Harare; run interference location and monitoring scenarios with nominated users.
Site acceptance, practical training, SOPs, asset register and operational handover.
A 20-unit national expansion could be evaluated separately. It is not included in the current tender budget.
The provisional commercial model covers two complete analyser packages, not one device. Each package has its own antenna, software/calibration and protective kit allowances, alongside shared delivery, pilot and training services. These are proposed quantities, not confirmed tender quantities.
Portable wideband monitoring and field measurement systems
Directional and omnidirectional antennas with RF accessories
Cases, spares and protective transport provision
Interference investigations, trace capture and operational evidence
Practical instruction and competency checks for up to 10 users
Installation, acceptance testing, support and documentation
Illustrative turnkey budget for two provisional equipment packages and associated services. This is not an OEM quotation or a final bid. Quantities, scope, duties and technical compliance require confirmation.

Every requirement is tracked to an evidence source and a witnessed acceptance method. The workstreams below are verification gates, not claims of proven compliance. Final wording must be reconciled line by line with the tender and all addenda.

Proof: Completed procurement evidence packThe pilot is designed to generate objective evidence of instrument readiness, operator capability and operational value. The final criteria will be agreed with POTRAZ and must not replace mandatory tender specifications.
Configured instrument, options, antenna compatibility and calibration are witnessed and recorded.
Delivery inventory, instrument performance, interfaces, exports and operational readiness are signed off.
Reproducible interference-investigation case files, location notes and timestamped spectrum measurements.
Up to ten nominated operators complete practical exercises with competency evidence and SOPs.
POTRAZ receives equipment register, certificates, warranty route, support contacts and final report.
A persuasive proposal is only credible when its procurement evidence, technical traceability, pricing assumptions and operational risks are explicit.
Obtain signed manufacturer or authorised dealer appointment before claiming supply authorisation.
Validate tender minimum under a witnessed operating profile; do not assume the base instrument passes.
The tender has two line items; verify whether they represent two complete systems.
Confirm consignee, Incoterms, duties, taxes, lead times and insurance responsibilities.
Agree custody, security, retention and access controls for sensitive spectrum measurements.
Submit mandatory forms, certificates, references, compliance responses and pricing in the prescribed format.
